Hai! tulisan saya kali ini dalam bahasa Inggris. Sebenarnya ini salah satu tulisan saya untuk kelas Berbasis (belajar bahasa Inggris). Semua yang bergabung di kelas ini belajar bagaimana caranya menulis dalam bahasa Inggris. Dengan bantuan beberapa kakak yang memang punya passion dalam hal menulis, kita bisa belajar menulis mulai dari hal-hal yang sederhana. Tidak hanya belajar menulis, kita juga bisa belajar 3 skil yang lain. Nah, seperti yang saya bilang tulisan di bawah ini salah satu tulisan saya di kelas Berbasis, ketika kami diminta oleh seorang kakak untuk menulis hal yang membuat kami merasa bosan. Menunggu adalah salah satu hal yang membuat saya bosan. O iya, karena saya masih dalam proses belajar, jadi harap dimaklumi kalau ada kesalahan dalam penggunaan Grammar, vocabulary, Punctuations, atau hal-hal lain yang punya kaitan dengan menulis.
Waiting can
be waiting for something or someone. Everybody certainly ever wait for something
or someone. Waiting, for some persons is a usual thing for human life. For
example waiting the bus, waiting for friends, and so on. How do you feel if you wait for long time? Do
you feel bored? Many people will say “Yes, I do”. Like the expression in
Indonesia “menunggu itu membosankan” or an Indonesian band song lyrics’ “menunggu
sesuatu yang sangat menyebalkan”
I do not
know how about other persons, but for me waiting for something or someone
especially for long time is not only boring and paining, but also annoying. So, if someone asks me the same question then
my answer will be same as the expression and song’s lyrics above. I am annoyed
when I wait for something or someone. The most annoying thing in waiting for
something or someone is when I have an appointment to meet someone or my friends,
and then they come late. It is really annoyed me, because they always ask me to
be on time, but then they are the persons who come late. It is ok if they only come late once or twice.
It is really annoying when the late persons come late again and again. They
come late, and then they say “sorry, we will not do it again”. It is only a
promise, so they can break it and come late again.
Waiting for
something or someone is not always annoying. It can be a way to train our
patience. For example, when we really want something, then we bring it in our
pray or we always pray for it. Sometimes we are not directly get what we want
in the first time we bring it in our pray.
Sometimes we feel like hope is gone or God never answer us. Actually God
is training us. He wants to know how far we become a patience person.
